I think a lot of the global comments I received were all very helpful. Some of the most helpful suggestions were the ones of how to incorporate more of Rhinehart’s views into a couple more of my statements. I had a difficult time with that because Rhinehart and I are talking about two different things. I think some of the best global comments I left were about how they add more quotes to help them prove their points. My three partners and I all had similar views on the essay, and we all were trying to find good, accurate quotes to help with our points.

I think some of the most helpful comments that I got were on ways I could expand my introduction. My group members suggested I elaborate more on my thesis to make my point more noticeable. They also made the suggestion on trying to have transitions from paragraph to paragraph. As of right now my paragraphs don’t flow as well together as they should. They also said I should bring in more of my own quotes and maybe paraphrase more of the other quotes I have from Widdicombe’s essay. I wish we had brought up more on how to make our quotes flow a little better. I still feel as though I have a hard time discussing the quote once I add it into my essay.

This peer review differs from my high school peer review because we are actually getting helpful feedback. In high school most of the students would just looking for spelling mistakes and punctuation, but now we are looking at how to improve sentences and our paragraphs as a whole. The feedback I get now actually helps me on parts I’m struggling with.
