I’m at exactly 501 words. When I began this paper I had the idea of using both Widdecombe and Pollan’s essays to talk about the ‘Wizards’ and the ‘Prophets,’ but now I have to redo that since we can only use one of the essay options. To write my paper I’ve been finding points that I agree on and that I think could help enforce my thesis. I think I’m going to stick with the Pollan essay because I have found more points that I think I can relate to personally, but there are still a lot of points in Widdecombe’s essay that would help give information about the ‘Wizards’ and their ideas of new and improved technology. I’m trying to stick to the ‘Prophet’ side of Mann’s essay since that is what I personally believe and I think Pollan’s paper would be better for that.

I need to get busy on which point I really wanna focus on more and not what one has the most information. I need to go back through my essay and weed out points that I can no longer use and replace them with new points and evidence that fit better with the essay I pick. 

The biggest challenge I’m facing is picking and essay to include in the paper. I’m planning to reread over Mann’s essay and try to find similar points in both of the other essays and hopefully get enough evidence to help me prove my thesis. Because of this I am behind in the essay but I’m going to try and do some digging in the next couple days and then maybe talk to Vic about other points that I can bring in or maybe how to make both papers fit together better.
